A maritime operation carried out by the French Navy has resulted in the interception of a sailing vessel, approximately 112 nautical miles northeast of Guadeloupe. On the cabin of the vessel, French authorities were able to find 18 bales containing 445Kg of cocaine ultimately destined for Europe.
The two crew members were arrested and duly presented before the competent judiciary authorities.
This successful operation was made possible through close international cooperation between several MAOC-N partner countries.
