Last week, a high-level Ecuadorian delegation visited MAOC-N to discuss and explore the possibility of establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the near future.
Representatives from various Ecuadorian ministries – including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Defense, the National Police, the Ecuadorian Prosecutors Office, and EUDEL Ecuador – convened at MAOC-N Headquarters to engage in fruitful discussions with a view to strengthening and further exploring the cooperation between Ecuador and MAOC-N.
During the visit, both entities had the chance to present themselves and their initiatives and strategies to combat new emerging threats posed by transnational organised crime groups, namely by sea.
