Domingos Monteiro Correia, the National Director of Guinea-Bissau’s Judicial Police, recently visited the Headquarters of MAOC (N) in Lisbon, accompanied by a UNODC delegation.
The meeting focused on the vulnerabilities in West Africa and the growing importance of the African route in the context of maritime drug trafficking destined for Europe.
Additionally, both parties underlined their commitment to continue strengthening and further exploring a cooperative approach to address maritime security challenges in the Atlantic region.
