MAOC-N recently convened its Executive Board Meeting (EBM) at the Centre’s headquarters in Lisbon, bringing together senior representatives from its member countries to review progress and reinforce collective efforts in combating maritime drug trafficking.
The meeting provided an important opportunity for participants to assess ongoing operations, discuss strategic developments, and consider future initiatives aimed at strengthening international cooperation and operational effectiveness.
The Executive Board also welcomed two guest speakers: Hugues Moret, Special Envoy of the President of the French Republic for the European Political Community at the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, and Xavier Ducept, Secrétaire Général de la Mer (SG Mer). Their presence at the meeting reflected the continued engagement of key partners in supporting efforts to address maritime security challenges.
The meeting reaffirmed MAOC-N’s commitment to working closely with its member countries and partners to disrupt criminal networks and safeguard international maritime security.
