MAOC-N was pleased to welcome Lorraine Nolan, Executive Director of the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA), to its Headquarters in Lisbon, where she was received by the Centre’s Executive Director.
The visit provided an opportunity to exchange views on the evolving drugs landscape and to reaffirm the strong working relationship between MAOC-N and EUDA. Both based in Lisbon, they benefit from close cooperation and regular engagement, fostering valuable synergies in support of their respective mandates.
Discussions focused on the current and evolving challenges posed by international drug trafficking, with particular attention to developments in the maritime domain and their implications for Europe. The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore further avenues for cooperation, building on the complementary expertise of both organisations.
