Last week, MAOC-N held its Executive Board Meeting in Lisbon. The event brought together senior representatives from the member countries to discuss ongoing operations, strategic developments, and future initiatives in the fight against maritime drug trafficking.
On the second evening of the meeting, MAOC-N hosted the Medal of Excellence Ceremony, an occasion dedicated to recognising outstanding contributions and achievements in maritime law enforcement cooperation. The ceremony celebrated the commitment, professionalism, and dedication of individuals and partner agencies who have played a vital role in supporting MAOC-N’s mission.
The event in Lisbon served not only to strengthen international collaboration but also to highlight the continued success of joint efforts to combat organised crime at sea.
