MAOC-N Executive Board Meets in Dublin

MAOC-N’s latest Executive Board Meeting (EBM) convened in Dublin, Ireland, bringing together senior representatives from its member countries’ authorities to review the Centre’s ongoing activities, address emerging challenges, and set its strategic direction.

A key contribution to the discussions came from guest speaker Lorraine Nolan, Executive Director of the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA). Her presence at the meeting reflected the continued engagement of key partners in supporting efforts to address maritime and general aviation security challenges.

The EBM plays a central role in guiding MAOC-N’s priorities and shaping its future direction, ensuring that the Centre remains responsive to the evolving challenges of maritime and air-based drug trafficking.

The meeting reaffirmed the importance of close cooperation among member countries and partners in strengthening collective efforts to disrupt criminal networks involved in drug trafficking by sea and air, and to enhance overall security.
