The Executive Director of MAOC-N hosted Hugues Moret, Special Envoy of President Emmanuel Macron for the European Political Community (Communauté Politique Européenne – CPE) at the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
During the visit, Mr Moret was welcomed to MAOC-N’s headquarters and received a briefing on the Centre’s operational activities and strategic priorities. The meeting, led by the Executive Director and supported by a senior analyst, highlighted MAOC-N’s role in fostering international cooperation against transnational organised crime at sea.
France is a founding member of MAOC-N and continues to play a key role in its joint efforts to counter maritime drug trafficking.
The exchange provided an opportunity to explore areas of mutual interest, reinforcing MAOC-N’s commitment to working closely with European partners in addressing evolving maritime threats.
