A Nordic delegation recently visited the headquarters of MAOC-N, where they were hosted by the Executive Director.
The delegation was led by Kristin Kvigne, Director of the Norwegian National Criminal Investigation Service, and included the National Coordinator for Norway’s NLO (Nordic Liaison Officers). The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on ongoing cooperation, intelligence sharing, and joint efforts to counter maritime drug-trafficking networks operating across international waters.
Discussions also highlighted Norway’s renewed interest in the potential future accession to MAOC-N. The Centre welcomes this strengthened commitment and looks forward to continued dialogue and close cooperation with the Norwegian authorities.
