Visit of the New DEA Special Agent in Charge of the Europe Division to the Centre

The Centre was pleased to welcome the new Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Europe Division of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Marissa Lee, on an official visit yesterday evening. She was accompanied by Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Stephen Shidell.

The visitors were hosted at the Centre’s HQ by the Executive Director, providing an important opportunity to strengthen collaboration and exchange insights on operational priorities across the Atlantic. SAC Lee was briefed on the Centre’s ongoing operations and its role in supporting multinational efforts to combat serious and organised crime via sea and air. Discussions focused on enhancing intelligence-sharing and exploring new areas for joint initiatives.

The Centre extends its thanks to SAC Marissa Lee and ASAC Stephen Shidell for their visit and looks forward to a fruitful and continued collaboration. The joint cooperation between MAOC-N and the USA on maritime drug trafficking has been developing since the Centre’s inception in 2007.
