Her Excellency the Minister of Interior, Institutional Reforms, and Democratic Renewal of Belgium Annelies Verlinden visited MAOC-N this week.
This meeting aimed at presenting the work carried out at MAOC-N and discussing the terms of a possible entry of Belgium into the Centre.
Her Excellency the Minister reiterated Belgium’s willingness to become a partner country of MAOC-N, noting that, as this struggle does not stop at national borders, multilateral cooperation is the only way to efficiently tackle international drug trafficking, which poses so many challenges for Europe in general and Belgium in particular.
