On the 21st of August, a Norwegian-flagged sailing vessel named HOLD FAST II arrived in Cherbourg, France, and was immediately subjected to a deep search by the French Customs (DNRED). On board, the French authorities were able to find over 2 tonnes of cannabis resin, distributed among 56 bales.
The crew of the HOLD FAST II was composed of two Norwegian nationals who were arrested on site and subsequently placed in custody under the authority of the Cherbourg Public Prosecutor’s office.
