On 10/11/2023, a sailing vessel named THIASSI was interdicted approximately 196nm off the coast of Salvador (Brazil) by the Brazilian authorities, which had been monitoring it for a while on suspicions of drug trafficking.
The German-flagged vessel, which had four crew members on board – all Brazilian nationals – was seized by the Brazilian Federal Police with the support of the Brazilian Navy, with three tonnes of hashish on board.
