Vice-Admiral Juan Ricardo Rozo Obregón, Second Commander in Chief of the Estado Mayor of the Colombian Navy, was recently received by the Executive Director of MAOC-N at the Centre’s Headquarters in Lisbon.
The Colombian delegation was briefed by one of MAOC-N’s intelligence analysts on its recent activities and operations, with a view to strengthening and further exploring the cooperation between Colombia and MAOC-N, namely through the memorandum of understanding (MoU) celebrated in 2018.
MAOC-N has also been one of the first international organizations joining the long term naval operational strategy led by the Colombian Navy looking to generate regional and international synergies in the fight against international drug trafficking – the ORION Campaigns.
