The Brazilian Federal Police intercepted a Fishing vessel carrying 844kg of cocaine off Itajaí, Brazil.
The seizure took place during an environmental surveillance action, which identified a fishing boat sailing on the Itapema crossing without shinning AIS.
After performing evasive maneuvers and not answering the stop command, the Federal Police carried out an approach and interception of the vessel, finding several cocaine tablets hidden in the nets.
The crew, composed of 8 Brazilians were arrested and placed in the custody of the competent judicial authority.
