MAOC-N participated in the first General Assembly of the Diamond Network, organised within the framework of EL PACCTO, held in Quito from 20 to 24 April 2026.
The Diamond Network brings together specialised law enforcement agencies from Latin America and Europe working to combat international drug trafficking and strengthen operational cooperation between partner countries.
As part of the programme, the Portuguese Liaison Officer at MAOC-N attended the event as representative of the Centre and delivered a presentation on MAOC-N’s role in supporting international maritime counter-narcotics operations, as well as in fostering intelligence-sharing and operational coordination among international partners.
MAOC-N’s participation in the event reflects its continued commitment to international cooperation and to supporting joint efforts against transnational organised crime under the EL PACCTO framework.
